Please attend a campus information session and/or contact Beth Clodfelter at clodfele@ohio.edu if you are considering applying in September 2009 for the 2010-2011 competition. It takes time and careful thought to prepare a competitive Fulbright proposal and Ohio University's academic schedule means that applicants need to be nearly done when Fall Quarter begins, not just starting. Therefore you are encouraged to begin thinking seriously about your ideas, attend an information session and/or request a meeting in Winter or Spring Quarter - the earlier the better. Ms. Clodfelter can help you weigh your options within the program and can provide guidance into both the application process and how to become a stronger candidate. Before requesting a meeting, you are encouraged to carefully read three sections on this Fulbright website if you have not already done so: "About Fulbright," "Thinking of Applying" and "How to Apply."
