Currently enrolled UCSC students must apply for the Fulbright Scholarship through the Division of Undergraduate Education. Both online and hard copy application submissions are due by the campus deadline: October 1, 2009. Please submit completed hard copy application and all supporting documents, e.g., foreign language report, references, transcripts, and sealed letters of reference to the campus Fulbright Program Adviser.

All on-campus applicants will be contacted for an interview shortly after the application deadline.

UCSC Alumni must apply At-Large by going to the Fulbright Scholarship website, http://us.fulbrightonline.org/home.html.

• Collect all supporting documents, e.g., foreign language report, references, transcripts, etc., and submit them with the hard copy application to Institute of International Education.
• Send supporting documents to IIE in their original sealed envelopes with the signature or stamp of the individual or institution across the flap. All application materials must be sent to IIE in a single-application packet and received by the deadline indicated.
• Submit the application electronically in order to provide IIE with access to it.
The deadline for At-Large submission of the online application is October 19, 2009. The completed hard copy application packet must be received by IIE on October 21, 2009.

All applicants are encouraged to attend one of the U.S. Student Fulbright Guidance
Sessions held between May and October at one of the IIE Regional Centers.

If you have country-specific questions on the Fulbright Program that are not answered by the participating country summary you should contact the relevant IIE Program Manager.
