FULBRIGHT FULL GRANTS

Please Note: The Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship program for Hong Kong has been cancelled for the 2010-2011 program year.  Candidates who had planned to apply for this program are welcome to apply for other English Teaching Assistantship or Fulbright Full grant programs and should amend their applications accordingly.

Language A minimum of one year of Mandarin or Cantonese is recommended.

Academic year
September through April, May, or June depending on the institution.

Grant duration
10 months, between August 2010 and March 2011.

Affiliation
It is strongly recommended that applicants identify appropriate host institutions for their projects and that they include affiliation letters with their Fulbright applications. If necessary, the U.S. Consulate in Hong Kong will assist in facilitating the affiliations for candidates who have been officially awarded grants.

Restriction
Candidates currently residing in China, Hong Kong, or Macau will not be considered.

Dependents
No dependent allowance is available.
