Chronicle of Higher Education - Top Producing Schools

The October 23, 2009 issue of the Chronicle of Higher Education highlights the ways the Fulbright Program is adapting to the Obama administration’s priorities by expanding in strategic world areas and fields of study.  A feature article describes the program’s growth in Russia, Indonesia, Turkey, China and India, and mentions the success of the new Science & Technology initiative and cultural initiatives such as the Fulbright-mtvU awards, as well as efforts to diversify the program’s applicants and the U.S. institutions that participate.  It also includes the lists of "Top Producing" schools - those institutions in each Carnegie Classification that had the highest number of students who received Fulbright grants this year.

Please visit the Chronicle of Higher Education's website and to view the Fulbright feature, please see the top producing campus listings.

The Fulbright Program is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State. You can find out more about the Fulbright Program at www.fulbrightonline.org, or on the State Department website, at http://fulbright.state.gov. To find out details on your campus's involvement with the Fulbright Program, contact Tony Claudino at IIE (tclaudino@iie.org).

Congratulations to all those institutions whose students received Fulbright grants this year, and especially to those listed in this year's top producing lists. We would like to thank the Fulbright Program Advisers for their successful advising of their students.
