Tuition fees: 71,000 EUR (these are tuition fees for 2018-2019. Fees may vary for the 2019-2020 academic year)

One award is available to pursue an International MBA at the IE Business School in Madrid, an accelerated and highly customizable one-year program at one of the world’s leading business schools. IE has a multilingual and multicultural student body that comprises students from more than 70 nationalities. In addition, IE is fully accredited by the three leading accreditation agencies in the management education arena: AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA.

Upon successful completion of the Master's Program, graduates will receive the private diploma from IE Business School. In addition, students are entitled to request the issuance of the Official University Degree upon completion of the Master's Program and fulfillment of applicable requirements.

This award is co-sponsored by the IE Foundation.

Grantees may only join in the September 2019 intake.Attendance at the Madrid orientation in early/mid September is mandatory.

Candidate Profile

This program is open to graduate students from all academic and professional backgrounds with a minimum of three years of full-time work experience. Successful candidates demonstrate a combination of the capabilities and drive that a one-year MBA requires, together with an understanding of IE's core values and global mindset.

Additional Information: Basic Spanish language proficiency is required at the time of application for all candidates. Students may enroll either in the International MBA English or the International MBA Español (only for candidates with advanced Spanish proficiency).

Affiliation

Applicants are required to apply both for a Fulbright award and for admission to the International MBA program through the IE website.  Students may enroll either in the International MBA English or the International MBA Español.

More information on the IE admissions process can be found at www.ie.edu.  Applicants are not expected to have a letter of admission/affiliation at time of Fulbright application, but awards are made conditional upon acceptance by IE no later than February 15, 2019.

Affiliation Fees/Tuition

The Instituto de Empresa (IE) provides full tuition waivers for Fulbright grantees.

Ineligibility

Candidates with dual U.S./Spanish citizenship, or candidates residing in Spain at the time of application or any time thereafter, are not eligible for the Fulbright Program to Spain.

Current U.S. Student

United States citizens who are currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programs are eligible to apply.  All applicants enrolled in U.S institutions must apply through their home campuses.  Find the Fulbright Program Adviser on your campus.

If you are an undergraduate student you would be eligible to apply in your senior year.  If you are a graduate student you are eligible to apply to most countries as long as you will not have a PhD degree on the application deadline.

Non-U.S. Student

If you are a non-U.S. citizen looking to applying for a Fulbright grant to study in the United States you will apply to the Fulbright Program for Foreign Students in your home country.

U.S. Citizen but not a Student

If you are a U.S. citizen, hold a bachelor’s degree, and do not have a PhD degree then you could be eligible for certain awards within the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.  Please review the program summary for the country where you would like to apply.

Artist

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program welcomes applications in the creative and performing arts.  Arts candidates for the U.S. Student Program should have relatively limited professional experience in the fields (typically 5 years or less) in which they are applying.  Artists with more experience should consider applying for Fulbright Scholar Program.

Creative & Performing Arts projects fall under the Study/Research grant category and are available in all countries where Study/Research grants are offered.
